A quick step on Belarus

Greetings to you, dear readers!
It has turned out unpredictable and unexpected trip. Chose a direction for the weather, because April this year was very mixed, first the heat and then the cold and rain. We had 4 days and 3 nights, they estimated that during this time we will have time to pass along the route Lipetsk — Gomel — Minsk — Bryansk — Lipetsk. Two days have drawn a route, booked the hostels, collected and bought stuff and put the Luggage on the motorcycle. And now we're on our way, rushing to meet the Belarusian lands.

Oddly enough, but to go South, the desire has disappeared, when there was a sharp warm +20 according to the forecast, the temperature dropped to +8. The first day we had to drive about 690 kilometers, and so as to leave only happened at 11 in the morning, before dark we have certainly not had time. Then had a chance to check the light on the new motorcycle, and... it frankly sucks. Well the truth is: Vivere were two H4 halogen lamps, and they did not Shine cosmically, the goose and a Bixenon with a lens and a special glass. But the light is bad. Fortunately with him I had to go a little bit. What I liked is the cleanliness around. Everything is neat, tidy — order one word. For us as people who for the first time in the sister Republic was surprised that the speed limit observed 95% of drivers. I was later told that there are heavy fines, and if you're rich or not paying attention — be kind to fork. We observed almost everywhere, with the exception of motorways, which for motorcycles is a limit of 90 km/h. Probably still with the Soviet Union forgot to change this item, and the technique has since grown very weak. For me it was not just another trip, but a chance to see how good Gus. The first trouble happened in Gomel. After spending the night we leave the room, put things on motorcycles (appreciated bags, which are picked up and went, not as usual bags impose, fasten...), turn the key in the ignition, and the display (RID) is not responding.

the first night

Already home, by removing tank and checking the wiring, was just hit the dust in one of the slots and lost contact. Everything is fixed and works. Second annoying thing — leaking fuel filler neck. Before the trip took two o-ring out, washed, put back, but still leaking oil. In the same Gomel bought a sealant, and in Minsk sealed gasket. More oil is not gone, and for 1000 km from Minsk to Lipetsk level has not changed at all. That is, if the motor fails to turn, then the oil he doesn't eat. If I do not know, did not check, but I say eat up. And consumption in the 100-120 km/h 5.2 l / 100 km For 1085 CC engine is very nice. But something I became interested in technical issues, better get back to our sheep trip.
Main roads is just amazing — beautiful scenery, smooth asphalt is good, again clean, well I can not be silent, if she really is everywhere! On the road a lot of such beautiful areas and often in front of them the sign: "the Driver tired? Don't risk it, get some rest" and something like that.

Minsk reminded Kazan, with the amendment that Kazan is Islam, but Christianity. In fact both the capital city of the Republic, and it "shines" in everything. Maybe even affects, as there and there very clean... this is purely my opinion, not to take.

In Minsk there was not much time to see and walk, so I ran through the streets, watched parks and attractions and most importantly to purchase natural products =) Without it anywhere.

In Belarus there are so many people: purely for reference in Moscow alone is home to more people than in the whole countryBut despite this, in Minsk in the evening was full of street-traffic-light racers on machines and sportbike. Apparently they don't care about fines and the police =) still, between us, the Slavs have a lot in common))
One of these was not lucky, hope the owner of all right, but the thrush given thrush...

Talk a little about the hostel in which he stayed. This is a normal apartment, but with an unusual castle. Touch it and opens the door after the activation code.

Personally, we saw this for the first time and was surprised. The people caught motley: one man, a native of Tashkent, at the age of 12 years he moved with his parents to the States and now from new York went to travel across Europe, Russia and CIS countries. First speaking in English, and then realizing who you are dealing with switched to Russian. Talked deep into the night, it was very nice and interesting.

This morning I met a girl from Peter, which flew for the first time in Belarus and haven't seen anything yet. And just before leaving met a man from Zhitomir, discussed their presidential elections, etc. On the road from Minsk stopped at a gazebo in a forest and later we were joined by man-trucker that 9 years working in the vast expanses of Russia and Kazakhstan. The lunch hour flew at times for talking about the harsh reality, the disintegration of the Union and where we roll. To the question, where is better to live in Belarus or Russia, the trucker answered honestly: "Yes, to hell knows, the same everywhere". My personal summary: the Ukraine, Belarus, Russia — one country. Yes they have different government, different heads of state, but in Ukraine now things are not clear, but the relationship between ordinary people is not affected, at least for now. For the average citizens standard of living again, + - the same. I do not set myself the goal to compare, evaluate, weigh... it turns itself.
The road home. Typically, the formal segment of the path that you want to fly. That was not the race, decided to stay in Bryansk. First impression — we are in Russia((( Especially given the perfectly clean Belarus. It turned out that we stayed on the outskirts, and Gogolev walk to the centre of Bryansk was nothing like the town =) And then... on the road, miles, new types and landscapes... On the way met a cheerful boy bandit, talked, drove about a hundred together.
I'd like to return to Belarus? With great joy. We were impressed by the country, the people, the food... the spirit of the Slavs. I can't fully describe everything that touched the heartstrings, but this country touches.
